Needs some help troubleshooting an issue? There are a couple of ways to get help:

  1. Post your question to this forum. Forum participants are very willing to help troubleshoot common problems. Please be aware that, due to the fact that forums are attractive targets for spammers, all requests for forum membership are sent to a moderator for approval. If you have an urgent issue, you might get a quicker response if you open a support ticket.
  2. Open a support ticket. If you send an email to support, you'll receive an email with a link to the ticket which you can use to track the conversation. You'll find the support email address on the support page.

Steve (our hero) normally answers questions as quickly as possible. But he sometimes answers questions faster than possible. This isn't magic or time travel but the simple fact that there's a fair chance he, or some else, has already addressed the question somewhere in the Forum. So...

3. Use the Search command. The Search command for the forums is at the top of the page on the right side (next to Help). Click it and you'll get a little search field into which you can add a few keywords. Words must be four characters long or longer. If necessary, click on "More Search Options" for (what else?) more search options. There is also a check box you can use to restrict your search to the current forum.

Be warned: Some Forum members can be a bit chatty (guilty!) and often go off on tangents (again, guilty!!). But you might find it entertaining. Feel free to add your own two cents; I always do.

My 2¢ on this topic.

-Thoth.

IMHO, the forum search feature is a bit light weight. You may want to use google to search the site by entering "site:storyist.invisionzone.com" in the search box before your search terms. This is my current preferred search method.
