Let's face it. There are two Halloweens. One is for the kids. The other is for the adults.
Party! Party! Party!

All the kids came by this evening. I stayed on the couch in my bathrobe. <_<

That's the spirit! Keep the candy for the grownups.
But wait. Ninety-one minutes into Halloween and all the kids already came by?

Yes, my lot are still showing up. Some extras this year, which is nice (less candy to wrap itself around my middle and cling).

Just got back from Boston, where people in costume had been wandering around since Fri. evening. A rather dramatic addition to what generally goes by the name of Boston "driving."

Personal favorites: Thing 1 and Thing 2, plus a highly creative mushroom (unaccompanied by Caterpillar with hookah). <_<
Trick or treat!

I'm now heading out to my second Halloween party of the day.
In the first one I was chaperoning little kids. At this party there was less candy (the parents insisted--Type II Diabetes is on the rise) and more barbecue. (Roasted Halloweenies! Yum.) They had a great time.
This second party is for adults only. I expect to have a great time <_<

The best place to be on Halloween is NOT HOME.
(And what's with all those expensive Iron Man costumes? I saw a whole herd of identical Iron Mans coming down the street like something out of a Marvel lawyer's copyrights nightmare.)
