So NaNo day 1 is over with, hope everybody had a good time writing and got all those creative juices flowing.

What was your score for day one? Did you put it off? Was the page not as enticing as the world outside? Or was there one too many drinks enjoyed on All Hallows Eve?

I started my marathon 3 novels in NaNoMoWri month off to a flying start and got 10,000 words, the first 6 chapters of the novel done. I'm quite pleased with that overall, the writing isn't half as bad as I would have expected, and I had fun along the way.

As ever you can read my chapters as they come hot out of Stoyrist at the website of my novel http://www.fictionmonster.com/lazarine, and come on over to my blog at http://www.fictionmo...om/fromthebones to say hi.

I made my quota on day one (and a little more on day 2).

I have to say that 10,000 words on the first days is more like a rocketing than a flying start :)

I wish it was rocketing. Some of the NaNoers (?) were up to 30k+ in a day!

I reckon they're actually some kind of futuristic androids if they're doing that much in a day.

Either that or they're actually just writing out the alphabet over and over again :)

:) I love that, never heard it before. And Congrats to Isaac and Steve on their writing too, forgot to say that before.
