For the sake of staying on topic I will resist diving into the whole greatness conversation as I could probably go on a long stroll with that one.

I will say that I love the Ender books that I've read. They presented some very interesting concepts to roll around. They were a quick read, but they definitely made me think.

I'm with Orren on the go ahead and market what you've got and keep going with it if it is what you want to do.

I thought the stroll was a bizarre one. Orren says anyone can be great with enough practice and I say that's not true. Then he backpedals and tries to redefine the word "great" when he knows very well what we're talking about. My point (one of them) is that you simply don't know if you're going to be great. This doesn't mean you shouldn't try. But now he's playing the gene card. The gene card? Eugenics? Hitler? Khan Noonien Singh? And he does this right after mentioning several non-practice roads toward greatness, making my point for me. It's been said that once Nazis are invoked in an argument, the argument has gone too far astray. But then, going astray isn't foreign to this forum. I guess some people just like to argue (heh heh). So I'm addressing this paragraph to you in the hope that Orren will read it and realize that it's time to put this to bed.

Good to know. Thank you. (They're on order.)

I would think that it goes without saying that we all feel that way about all of us. But I'm glad you said it anyway. :)

That would be Godwin's law. :)

Right! Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies.
I should have remembered.
Thank you, Orren. :)

I have a few in mind, just haven't written them yet.

And I have no idea if anything I've written so far is great, hehe.

From what we've seen so far, I wouldn't be a bit surprised.
